Planet predicted to grow saltier
FLIP CITY NEWS: The recently passed trillion-dollar Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act includes a $12 billion pilot program to “salt the earth.” A clause in the new law will impose eminent domain on vast stretches of U.S. farmland to be salted over the next eight years. The salt is to be supplied by arrangement with Shu Weng #24 Salt Concern, Chu Wi city, Shandong Province, China.
“They have the best salts, even the pink Himalayan kind,” said a White House spox. “And everybody knows you need salt to grow anything. Can you imagine eating your french fries without salt?”
